Family-to-Family Health Information Centers and More

The November version of the Affordable Care Act Funding Opportunities database features a number of new funding opportunities including the Family-to-Family Health Information Centers (F2F HIC) grant. Due December 15, 2010, Family-to-Family falls under the Maternal and Child Health Bureau Family/Professional Partnership Program. Grants will be awarded to fund State-wide, family-staffed F2F HICs that will provide information, education, technical assistance and peer support to families of children with special health needs. Another addition to the ACA database is the Health Center Expanded Services Supplemental Funding opportunity due January 6, 2011.This opportunity will support increased access to preventive and primary health care services, including oral health, behavioral health, pharmacy, vision, and/or enabling services at existing health center sites.
