In June, the United Neighborhood Centers of America (UNCA), in partnership with the Alliance for Children and Families and the Federal Reserve Bank System, will host a webinar on cross-sector approaches to strengthening communities and improving health outcomes. Entitled "Rebuilding Communities, Building Human Potential and Improving Population Health: How it all Comes Together," the event will highlight national examples of partnerships that have successfully improved health outcomes, strategies for fostering collaboration between the human services, community development, and health sectors to achieve improved social and health outcomes for low-income communities, as well as the experience of the Federal Reserve Board in relationship building at the community level.
The webinar will feature two speakers: Sandra Braunstein, Director of the Federal Reserve Board’s Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, and David Erickson, Director of the Center for Community Development Investments at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
This webinar will take place on Monday, June 25 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm (Central). For more information about this webinar, registration details, and a link to background information regarding the "intersection of community development and health," please visit UNCA's website
