On February 28, the U.S. Department of Education and Jobs for the Future will be hosting a webinar on dropout prevention and recovery in rural communities. Entitled "Utilizing The Village: Effective Reengagement and Recovery Programming in Rural Communities," the event is the third and final webinar in a series focused on strategies for helping at-risk young people in a rural context. Presenters will share concrete examples of efforts that have been successful in rural communities and participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences with each other. The event is intended for leaders at the school and district level as well as staff and community partners engaged in recovery efforts.
Featured panelists include:

- Constance Thomas, Executive Director, Berrien County Collaborative, Inc., Communities In Schools/Family Connection - Nashville, GA;
- Jeff Fite, Director of Job Readiness and Training, Sojourners Care Network, Youthbuild of Southeast Ohio - McArthur, Ohio
