Upcoming Webinar on Obama Administration’s Plans to Support Comprehensive Efforts for Youth

On July 17, the Forum for Youth Investment, in partnership with the National Collaboration for Youth, the American Institutes for Research, the Campaign for Youth and the Aspen Forum for Community Solutions, will host a webinar to discuss the Obama Administration’s plans to support comprehensive efforts for youth, particularly disconnected youth. Pathways for Youth, a strategic plan drafted by the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs, will be presented and participant feedback will be encouraged. In addition, the latest findings from the Interagency Forum on Disconnected Youth will be shared.

Scheduled speakers include:

  • Martha Moorehouse, recipient of the Ready by 21 Policymaker of the Year Award and chair of the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs;
  • Sarah Oberlander, leader of the Working Group’s production of FindYouthInfo.gov;
  • Kathy Stark, White House Office of Management and Budget, Co-chair of the Interagency Forum on Disconnected Youth; and
  • Johan Uvin, Department of Education, Co-Chair of the Interagency Forum on Disconnected Youth
