HUD, DOT and EPA make up the Partnership for Sustainable Communities, a federal partnership collaboration working to support communities nationwide in the development of more environmentally and economically sustainable strategies. The Partnership has developed six livability principles:
- Provide more transportation choices,
- Promote equitable and affordable housing,
- Improve economic competitiveness,
- Support existing communities,
- Coordinate and leverage federal policies and funding, and
- Value communities.
The Partnership plans to host a webinar on the HotReport soon. Check sustainablecommunities.gov for updates.
