TD Charitable Foundation “Housing for Everyone” Grants

The TD Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of TD Bank, N.A., is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for its eighth annual “Housing for Everyone” competition. This year, 25 grants of $100,000 each will be awarded.

The theme for this year’s competition is Neighborhood Revitalization and Stabilization. The TD Charitable Foundation will be focusing on initiatives working on revitalization in neighborhoods that have been adversely impacted by the Great Recession through the creation of affordable, clean and safe housing units.

Applications must focus on the:
  • Preservation/Rehabilitation/Expansion of existing affordable housing properties, and/or
  • Utilization of abandoned properties to create units of affordable housing.

All initiatives must also include a sustainable energy component, which will be considered in the scoring of the application.

Applicants must be a state/local government entity or 501(c)(3) organization and located within a TD Bank, N.A. metro market area. To see a list of market areas by state and county, click here. Applicants must also have a history of developing, maintaining, and/or providing affordable housing for low- to moderate-income families or individuals.
