The Forum for Youth Investment (FYI) and its Ready by 21 Initiative will be hosting a webinar titled Youth Master Planning: A Road Map for Improved Outcomes for Youth.
Youth Master Plans are results-driven plans outlining how communities can provide young people with the opportunities and supports they need to be successful. In November, FYI released a report highlighting Nashville’s efforts to create a youth master plan. This plan, generated with input from young people, businesses, nonprofits and other stakeholders in the community, includes strategies that address safe places in communities, leadership and engagement opportunities, social equity, caring school environments, physical health and high-quality after school programs, to name a few.
Youth Master Planning: A Road Map for Improved Outcomes for Youth will highlight the planning process and how a youth master plan can act as a call to action that generates excitement for youth development in your community. During the webinar, civic leaders from Nashville, TN and Caldwell, Id will share their experiences in implementing child and youth master plans.
