The Alliance for Children and Families and the Center for the Study of Social Policy are pleased to announce the 2014 Neighborhood Revitalization Conference. Now in its fourth year, this is the only national conference designed specifically for individuals and organizations with a deep investment in place-based, neighborhood revitalization efforts. The 2014 conference will bring together a wide range of public and private sector leaders, policymakers, practitioners and funders to learn together and set goals for the future.
What can you expect from this year’s conference? The 2014 Neighborhood Revitalization Conference will feature a number of sessions that tackle some of the field’s most complex challenges. Sessions will include:
- The Federal Government’s Commitment to Improving Results in Disinvested Neighborhoods
- Federal and Philanthropic Investments to Catalyze Sustainable Local Efforts
- Frontiers of Innovation: What Does Research Tell Us About Ensuring the Well-Being of Children and Families Living in Touch Neighborhoods?
- The Promise of Promise Zones: Aligning Neighborhood, City and Federal Revitalization Efforts
The conference will take place July 24-25 in Washington, DC and will include 20 workshops. Click here to learn more about conference registration.
